How lilplanters Started...

lilplanters began as a way for me to combine two long-time interests of mine: plants and woodworking. Early on, it was my dad’s enthusiasm for gardening which first introduced me to plants, and that interest has stuck with me over the years. Similarly, my woodworking journey began some time ago, in high school, but for a long time, I didn’t have the time or tools to really dive into it. Now that I’m older and finished with school, I’m finally getting the chance to explore both of these passions more seriously.

The name "lilplanters" came about when I wanted some small pots for my plants, but I'm not a big fan of plastic, so I decided to make my own out of wood. Those first planters were made out of some scrap 2 x 4's, so they weren't great, but they sparked the idea. Some time later, I looked at the little planters and thought why not try selling something similar under the name "lilplanters" (creative, right?), in case anyone else wanted some too.

I'm not a professional woodworker or gardener by any means —just someone who’s learning as they go and doing their best. I will continue working to improve my tools and skills so I can offer better quality with each item I make. I plan to expand lilplanters with more handmade home and plant-related items in the future, so please check back in from time to time if that sounds like your kind of thing.

Thank you for checking out my shop!
